Heya folks!
Akatoki logging in right after Kai called me up to make an appearance! Yes surprisingly I’m not dead yet, too bad (I know you hoped so) since I haven’t came on in years… (Save the sarcasm)
So, just went ahead and ordered from PlayAsia should be in about a week or two, I’m in no rush to play it however I am quite excited about it! (So is Kai but he’s not going to admit it obviously)
In this game there will be a huge roster of new playable mechs (quite the addition from the previous game) – out of curiosity based on the torrents out there – looks like it packs a whooping 1.6GB opposed to the previous 860MB ISO, so… that =’s lots of good stuff added!
Here’s a quick run down on what Wikipedia gave me… (Credits to Wikipedia and that author with no life to write that all up…)
Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mobile_Suit_Gundam:_Gundam_vs._Gundam_Next
Mobile Suit Gundam: Gundam vs. Gundam Next is the newest in the series of Gundam VS video game series from the Namco Bandai Games, it is the sequel to Mobile Suit Gundam: Gundam vs. Gundam. On September 15, 2009, Famitsu released gameplay screenshots of the PSP version Mobile Suit Gundam: Gundam vs. Gundam NEXT PLUS, scheduled for release on December 3, 2009.
System Changes
All the features from the previous title remain, including all player-usable units, with the exception that G-Crossover has been removed. A new system Next Dash, which can cancel moves instantly was introduced. Automatic blocking has been replaced by manual blocking. The music theme for Z Gundam, Gundam Wing, Gundam SEED, Gundam SEED Destiny, and Gundam 0083 are changed. Music theme for Gundam 00 has been added, and an additional theme has been added for Mobile Suit Gundam.
Now I won’t get into all the playable mechs because the list is ridiculously long on Wikipedia. But for the most recent Gundam enthusiasts, just know that GN-0000+GNR-010 00 Raiser will be in it (*Drools…* Like I said Kai is excited but won’t admit it) so look out for it, I also recall that the Wing Zero Endless Waltz Custom (With the angel like wings) will make its debut replacing the original Wing Zero from the previous game. Last but not least the Nataku Gundam and the Death Scythe Hell!
I’ll embed a youtube video below in the next little bit, I’m having lunch right now so look out for it!
